Using your Tripplus Travel Card

The 5 services included with your Tripplus Travel Card are designed to enhance the safety and convenience of your trip. Check below to see how to get each service activated and maximise the benefits of your card.

This is a toll free service accessible from anywhere in the world with customer service staff available to take your call 24/7. You may also email us if the issue is not urgent, we guarantee a reply within 24 hours.

T+ Protect – Travel Insurance provided by CSA Travel Protection®

Your Travel Insurance coverage commenced when you purchased your Tripplus Travel Card. You don't need to activate it. You can:
- Get help with your Travel Insurance. Call the Hotline and select option 2 from the menu to speak to a CSA Travel Protection® representative.
- Submit a claim, Call the toll free HOTLINE, select option 2 from the menu to speak to a CSA Travel Protection® representative.
Important. Trip+ Protect- Travel Insurance is valid up to the card holders 31st birthday. You will be asked to substantiate your age on submission of a claim.

T+ Help – Assistance Services provided by CSA Travel Protection®
Your Assistance Services commenced when you purchased your Tripplus Travel Card. You don't need to activate them. You can:
  - Get Emergency Assistance, call the toll free HOTLINE, select option 2 from the menu to speak to a CSA Travel Protection® representative.
- Get Travel Assistance, call the toll free HOTLINE, select option 2 from the menu to speak to a CSA Travel Protection® representative.
Important: if you require changes to existing travel arrangements you should first contact the supplier with whom you made the original booking
- Get Concierge Assistance. Call the toll free HOTLINE, select option 2 from the menu to speak to a CSA Travel Protection® representative.

T+ Link - Phone Card services provided by ekit®
Your Phone Card requires you to activate it and deposit funds on account in order to start making phone calls. 
  If you elected to add funds to your Phone Card account when you purchased your Tripplus Travel Card you have already been provided with an Account Number and PIN and you are good to go. (Your Account Number is also shown on the front of your card).
If you did not add funds to your Phone Card account at the time of purchase, you need to activate your account. Your 10 digit Account Number is printed at the bottom of your card. You will be provided with a PIN. Make a note of  it and don't lose it!
 

  Once you have activated your account and received a PIN you can:

- Log in to your account to:
Add funds online
Check balance and account activity
Get an email account
- Find and print User Guide and Local Access Number
- Call the Local Access Number to:
Make calls
Send & Receive messages
Add funds by phone
  - Get assistance with your Phone Card. Call the toll free HOTLINE and select option 4 from the menu, or call the Local Access Number from wherever you are (including the USA) and press 0#.

T+ Pay - Prepaid Visa Card services provided by Ecount®
 

Your Prepaid Visa Card requires you to set up your account, get a PIN and add funds before you can make purchases or get cash from ATM's.
Once you have received your Tripplus Travel Card call the number shown on the sticker on the front of your card and follow instructions to select a PIN. (This is so your card works in ATM's). You must do this before leaving the USA. The 16 digit embossed number on the front of your card is your account number.

Next, set up your account to manage all other aspects of your Visa Card. You will need to do this even if you elected to add funds your account on application.
Once this is done can start spending (!) if you already have money on account or you can:

 
- Log in to your account to:
Load funds onto your Prepaid Visa Card
Check your account balance
Get great discounts at hundreds of merchants
- Find ATM’s worldwide
- Reporting a lost or stolen card. You must report lost or stolen cards within 48 hours. Call the toll free HOTLINE and select option 3 from the menu, or email us with full details. Your card will be cancelled immediately and a new one issued and sent to you. Remaining funds on the old card will be transferred to the new card. A replacement fee and shipping charge will be incurred. You must pay these, but can later submit a claim on your Travel Insurance for lost travel documents.
- Get help with your Prepaid Visa card. Call the Tripplus HOTLINE, select option 3 from the menu.

T+ Safe - Document and Information Storage provided by ekit®
 

Your Document and Information Storage account is linked to your Phone Card account and requires activation before you can use it.

If you have already activated your Phone Card account you are good to go! (Your T+ Safe account uses the same account number and PIN.) If not activate your account now. Your 10 digit Account Number is printed at the bottom of your card beneath your name. You will be provided with a PIN. Make a note of it and don't lose it!

Once you have activated your account and received a PIN you can:

- Log in to your account to:
Store important information
Store important documents

- Get help with Document and Information Storage. Call the Tripplus HOTLINE and select option 4 from the menu, or call the Local Access Number from wherever you are (including the USA) and press 0#.
